How we measure

Classroom-experience surveys were conducted with 265+ students in three schools in FY 2025–26. A baseline survey was piloted with 165+ students. Endline surveys follow the programme to measure what the intervention changed. Learning-outcome measures are being rebuilt around this baseline–endline design.

Voices from the classroom

Isn’t the paper currency too thin to contain GPS chips? Does the chip not require to be charged for it to be functional? So, are we to charge our money?— students, grade 9, during a 2023 workshop

If we do not come out of these imaginary boxes, we will limit our lives to the four walls. When we talk and meet others, we create a new box that contains us and them. If we want to have new life experiences, it is necessary that we step out of the boxes.— 13-year-old, community learning centre, Kolkata, 2023

How come they had enough money to travel to London by air, but not enough to own a pair of boots?— student, grade 9, 2023

Demand from the field

Schools, including government institutions, have sought further collaboration on word-of-mouth recommendations alone. This organic growth is our confidence in a decentralised, bottom-up model of scaling media literacy.
